The CHARGE AT TREVILLIAN STATION, Depicts the charge made at Trevillian Station on June 11, 1864. After the death of J.E.B. Stuart at Yellow Tavern, General Lee gave command of the remaining Confederate Cavalry to General Wade Hampton who can be seen in the forefront on his mount 'Butler'. The Cavalry men making the charge with Gen. Hampton were Cadet Rangers from the Citadel. Their mission was to protect a Confederate Artillery placement from being captured by Union Forces.
This Calendar Print is part of Artist Mort Kunstlers Civil War portfolio. The artwork is 11" X 14" and professionally framed and presented. It comes complete with dust cover backing and everything needed to properly display this work of art. The prints color and subjects are very vivid and these photos don't do the print justice.
