Two Sagami NWSL can motors

Northwest Short line NNWSL Sagami Flat can motorsimilar to NWSL #1836 12VDC motors. This one measures 1-9 W 18mm H 23mm L 36mm , by my measurement it has a single 2mm x22 mm shaft. Used, has been tested, and seems fine, speed regulates without load. NWSL advertises this motor as “Hi-Power for narrow hood diesels and large steam locomotives.�

Second Sagami motor has been installed at one time with RTV measures about 20mm diameter x 32mm long, and with by my measurement 2mm x 4mm double shafts. Used, has been tested, and seems fine, speed regulates without load. Look at photo.

Both are clearly labeled Sagami, although this is obscrured by the flash reflection. Both motors were lubricated and runs very smoothly, with a relatively low starting voltage. These were purchased from an estate lot, with about 20 other Pittman, Strombecker and Mashima motors, we are selling off what we can’t reasonably use. These would be excellent for repowering an Athearn or similar diesel, or repowering a Mantua or AHM/Rivarossi steamer.

I. PLEASE COMMUNICATE Occasionally email or postal mail are lost or misdirected. If contact is lost, please send another email or call. I will honor all completed auctions even if merchandise is sold at a loss. Please feel free to follow up within a reasonable time if any issues arise. We will always try to be reasonable, as you should too.

II. SHIPPING-

A. Buyer to pay Shipping and Insurance, if insurance is desired. ALL items valued at over $100 will be insured. Shipping rates are at cost. If there is an extraordinary handling or packing charge, it will be disclosed in the description. You may check USPS.com or UPS.com for rate verification; heavier items ship UPS.

B. Packing- Careful packing and use of bubble wrap, foam or styrofoam packing at no extra charge. Some large or fragile items requiriing more materials or special crating could cost more to ship, as stated in description.

C. Damage Claims- We will pack securely, and once the carrier accepts the shipment, we can not and will not be responsible for shipping damages. While rare, claims must be submitted to the carrier. Even though small parts on delicate items may become dislodged due to normal forces in handling, if you still wish to make an insurance claim, contact the carrier.

D. We usually ship once per week on Saturday. If the auction ends on a Sunday, make sure your payment is received by Friday to have the item shipped on Saturday. Expedited handling and shipping is available at a surcharge. Contact us. We have other jobs. Ebay supports our other interests.

Return Policy Details:

No refund policy: We are very careful with our descriptions and try to take clear pictures. We really want people to be pleased most are. To avoid the temptation of Buyer’s remorse or change of mind, and those who are never happy with anything- we give no refunds except for gross mis-description. Say, for instance, we say it’s made of brass and its made of lead, or we say it’s a bird and picture shows a dog, then we’ve made a mistake. Remember this is an auction not a retail store.
