| Non Deterioration Zoom |
A real innovation ensures that the compact EX-Z1000 can provide a zoom of up to 17.1x. Enjoy entirely new possibilities in pocket format!
And this is how it works: The 10.1 megapixel resolution is the key to an innovative solution. When the digital zoom is activated, images with resolutions from VGA up to a maximum of 5 megapixels can be stored in the central area of the CCD chip and projected by the relevant zoom factor, without any detail being lost. Depending on the resolution you choose, this lets you achieve a zoom factor of between 1.4x and 1.7x, and still keeps you close to the action.e de qualité. En fonction de la résolution réglée, cette méthode vous permet d’obtenir des facteurs de zoom de 1,4x à 17,1x, et d’être ainsi toujours au cœur de l’événement. |

| Continuous zoom shooting |

The divided display not only enables you to view both images, but also the practical illustration makes it easier for you to select the detail of the image you require. The quality of this detail depends on the resolution which was preset. |
