NOTE:
I had this listed last week but stopped the sale early. I am a new seller on ebay (I just sold my first item, hooray!) and I want to earn a reputation as an honest and exceptional seller, so I wanted to clarify my listing. When I took the gown out to get it ready for shipping last week, I noticed that it needs a little bit of cleaning in order to be in pristine condition. The dress is flawless, but there is a little bit of cleaning needed around the hem on the bottom and a little bit of makeup smudged on the skirt. I took it to a cleaners and he said that cleaning the dress (thus restoring it to brand-new condition) would probably cost just under $100.
So here's my deal, I was going to have it cleaned and then relist it for more $$ to offset the expense, but I don't really want to hassle with it if I don't have to. I will sell the gown for $50 plus shipping with the understanding that you will need to have it cleaned in order for it to be in perfect condition. (The dress cost around $900 new).
It's a beautiful dress and we've had a very happy marriage (so maybe the dress is good luck?). Buy the dress now and get it for a fraction of what it will sell for after I take it to the cleaners and relist it for a higher price ... you could save some $$ and I could save some hassle.
