Assembly

All parts are numbered, pre-cut and pre-drilled for faster assembly. The Arrow Yardsaver shed does not include a floor. You will therefore need to provide a level surface of either wood or concrete that is the size of the completed shed. You can pour a concrete slab base or build a foundation from your own lumber and place it on concrete blocks or pads. For proper installation, this shed must be anchored to the foundation. This shed kit does not include an anchoring system. It is therefore recommended that you consider purchasing one or more of the various optional Arrow shed anchor kits. For this shed we recommend either the Arrow Corkscrew Ground anchor kit if you have a wood base or the Arrow Concrete Anchor kit if you have a concrete foundation. If you live in a really windy area, you may also want to consider the Arrow Earth anchor kit for additional reinforcement.

Care and Maintenance

• Finish: For long lasting finish, periodically clean and wax the exterior surface. Touch-up scratches as soon as you notice them on your unit. Immediately clean the area with a wire brush; wash it and apply touch-up paint per manufacturer's recommendation.
• Roof: Keep roof clear of leaves and snow with long handled, soft-bristled broom.
• Doors: Keep doors closed and locked to prevent wind damage.
• Fasteners: Use all washers supplied to protect against weather infiltration and to protect the metal from being scratched by screws. Regularly check your building for loose screws, bolts, nuts, etc. and retighten them as necessary.
• Moisture: A plastic sheet (vapor barrier) placed under the entire floor area with good ventilation will reduce condensation.

Delivery of your merchandise

All merchandise is shipped directly from the manufacturer. Many of the larger items like sheds, greenhouses, and carports are delivered by a freight carrier. Estimated delivery time is within 2-3 weeks.

For residential orders shipped by freight truck it is recommended that you are available to unload your merchandise from the truck. The driver is only required to take your order to the rear of the truck while parked near the end of your driveway. The driver is not required to unload to the curb nor are they responsible to bring freight into your house, garage, etc. Drivers do not assist with unpacking, set-up, or clean up. If you have any special requests such as liftgate service or delivery to the backyard there may be additional charges. Special arrangements and fee payment will need to be made directly with the carrier.

A signature upon delivery is required.

The carrier will call to schedule a delivery appointment. Appointments are generally available during normal business hours from 9:00-5:00 Monday through Friday. If alternative hours are needed, you can work this out with the carrier. Please include a daytime and evening phone number in the shipping information at the time of check out so the carrier knows how to reach you. Your phone numbers will be used for coordination of this shipment only and not solicitation. We want to reassure you that we respect your privacy and that your phone numbers will only be used for this purpose. You will be responsible for storage fees if you cause delays in having the merchandise delivered once it reaches the destination terminal. It is for this reason that we ask that you provide accurate contact information so that the shipping company can reach you to arrange a delivery appointment. If you are going on vacation please give us advance warning so that we can avoid shipping the merchandise at a point in time when you are not available. You are also responsible for additional charges in cases of missed appointments and re-delivery. Re-delivery charges or storage fees will need to be made directly to the carrier.

It is your responsibility to inspect merchandise before the delivery agent's departure. If the merchandise appears to be damaged in any way, please note the damage on the freight bill. This will aid in the repair/replacement process. If there is extensive damage to any box please refuse it. Please contact ShedTopia's Customer Service Department so we can arrange for a replacement at no cost to customers inside the continental USA.
